I am a lifelong artist and designer with a range of additional skills.  Having illustrated artifacts at the British Museum and on Archaeological digs I then trained as an art teacher and have been exhibiting regularly in Bristol Art Trails since then.   I work for 20 hrs/week during school termtime and I am looking to prioritise some new challenging projects.

Increasingly I think of myself as a person indigenous to Bristol and the UK.  I love being out on my bike and doing artwork on location.  My current work is mostly topographical and done by direct observation.

My sense of place was formally developed by Landscape Architecture training and I used technical drawing skills as an archaeological illustrator.  I spent years immersed in Roman, Greek and Mayan cultures, but now I hope my work says something real about my city.

Cranes and Scaffolding. I am inspired by building work around Bristol City Centre

Grittier Bristol. I focused on less usual views

Bridges and Views. I sought out iconic views of Bristol, many with bridges
